Novak Gojkov Shines in Vršac Victory
Novak Gojkov continues to prove his tremendous potential. In the 8th round of the First League of Serbia, OFK Vršac defeated Grafičar 4–1, with Gojkov being one of the key figures behind his team’s convincing victory.
The talented footballer was involved in all four of Vršac’s goals – providing three direct assists, while also playing an important role in the build-up to the fourth.
Gojkov set up the first goal as early as the 2nd minute, before delivering a superb cross to assist the second in the 27th minute. Just minutes later he created another chance for a teammate, and in the closing stages of the first half once again showed his excellent game sense with another assist for Vršac’s fourth goal.
This performance comes just days after Gojkov signed a four-year contract with FK Vojvodina, marking a major step in his career. He will remain at OFK Vršac until the end of the season through a dual registration, where he will continue to gain senior experience and playing time.
Red Ball Agency is proud to follow his development and believes this is only the beginning of great things to come.
